I did this little icon in Adobe Illustrator.

Now I know I am a little late, but I made up for it! Hope you like this one.

I was feeling a little chilly this morning and thought about the fact that we have a few months before the ground will thaw and the flowers will bloom.

Changed the banner. I was having a celestial, old-world type of moment. And Look! I got it done before the Nth hour!

So I am taking Smashing Magazine‘s advice and vowing to design something every day for a year. I’m a little nervous that I’ll be able to keep to the schedule, but design, like anything, is about both talent and practice. And determination to hone your craft doesn’t hurt either.

And so, my faithful readers, I commence the Candace Designs 365 blog.

My post for today?

The banner I designed for this blog theme, which is iNove, in case you like the clean layout as much as I did. Ok. so the banner is a little lame, and eventually I’ll do my very own WP theme, but seeing that I had 6 minutes to post, I figured Baby Steps.

Sometimes my posts will not be every day, as there are days (albeit few) when I just can’t get to a computer. On those days, I will design something offline and upload it when I can.
